Tanjin Ahsan is currently working as Secretary of Research and Development in Dhaka University Research Society (DURS). She has also performed duty as Team Coordinator (2017), Research Manager (2018) of Politics, Law and Legal System and Secretary of International Affairs (2019) in Dhaka University Research Society (DURS).
She is studying at MSS and has completed BSS from Department of Criminology in University of Dhaka. She has received award of First Undergraduate Research Fellowship-2018 by Global Center for Innovation and Learning (GCFIL), USA for her research proposal 'Challenges Facing by Female Students in Politics of University of Dhaka’ on behalf of her team on September 12, 2018.
She has represented her first research work Social Media and Auto-radicalization of Bangladeshi Youth at International Conference on Terrorism in the Wave of Islamic States by Department of Criminology when she was a 4th semester student.
Besides, she was a Research Intern of Microgovernance Research Initiative (MGR). She has presented her research paper Contributions of Bangladeshi Diplomats for Reducing Death among Bangladesh-India Border at International Conference on ‘100 Years of International Relations’ organized by Bengal Institute of Political Studies (BIPS) in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. She has also worked in research project in collaboration with Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bangladesh Police and Department of Criminology, University of Dhaka.
